Dongwan, Guangdong, China, March 8, 2009--Young men celebrate International Women's Day by sprinting in high heels. 

Galloping atop three-inch (eight-centimeter) heels for 260 feet (80 meters), the competitors hoped to take first prize in the men's division of the race; others participated in the lovers' division with their girlfriends or wives.

Crested Butte Mountain, Colorado, March 28, 2009--The annual Slush Huck pond skimming contest, at the base of Crested Butte Mountain, involves making a pond and then skimming in it for as long as possible. 

Pond skimming was the grand finale of the Profurious Park and Pipe series of events held at the popular ski resort. Pond Skimming is where an individual comes down a hill either using skis, snowboard or an airboard and tries to "skim" across the cold pond of water without crashing.

Bali, Indonesia, March 4, 2009--Young Balinese girls compete during an international yoga festival in Denpasar. 

The week-long festival drew yoga instructors from around the world to hold courses and seminars on yoga and yoga-related themes such as the arts, health, and philosophy.
